Sometimes the classical interior creates the sensation of the new dimension. No one hopes seeing the light, dainty rooms that surely belong to the Victorian age in the two-bedroom apartment on the 13th floor. More surprisingly, this illusion was created without a single antique piece.
This apartment is the brightest example of what you can expect when the customer, being perfectionist, trusts his dwelling to the perfectionist who works as a designer. Everything is well balanced and ideal: the fine selection of materials and the combination of textures, the perfect color scheme.
For instance, the upholstery of the biggest object in the living room – a sofa – holds all shades from the interior decoration of this room. Bespoke doors have the same shade that the hardwood flooring. The painting on lamps plafonds in the kitchen calls to the laced curtains too. Even though the designer was too attentive to small details, he avoided being a complete perfect terror: there is no fear to move or touch anything that can destroy the internal harmony. The interior turns out to be vivid and cozy. Furthermore, it corresponds to needs and habits of its owner. The smallest room became the study and library at the same time. The small sofa has also found its place here. It became the comfortable bed for late guests too.
The designer decided to use Baroque as a base for the stylistic approach. However, the color palette softens the splendid shapes of the furniture. The brightest shade in the living room is soft armchairs with berry-colored upholstery.
Sure enough, it would be almost immoral not to pay attention to the splendid view of the city that opens up when looking out the windows. It is but comfortable outlooking the surrounding neighborhood sitting on the loggia, and the wintertime can be passed in comfort in the bay window with winter garden.
