Gentleman’s Apartment

The owner of this apartment situated in a countryside apartment complex on the shores of the Minsk Sea is a successful young man who spends a lot of time at work and wanted to create a light and comfortable, truly homely space. Main points for the customer were a separate bedroom, lots of light and handy storage spaces.

Thanks to the free layout it was possible to create a big open space with panoramic windows that connects the entrance, kitchen, living room and relax zone. It also allowed for enough space for a separate bedroom and a balcony where one could easily organise a working space with a majestic view form a massive window. This solution allowed to retain the feeling of freedom and air while also creating a cozy and functional private zone.

To note, the bedroom door was made into a stunning, perhaps even extravagant accent, as it was decorated in an English style loved by the customer. Stylistically it’s supported by mouldings and stuccos as well as Herringbone flooring. Hardwood flooring was essential for the customer as only real wood can give the feeling of naturalness, texture and warmth.

All in all, it’s a stylish eclectic interior design where dashes of classic are balanced out by modern furniture and signature elements. And manly palette is softened by warm tones of the wood.
