The apartment which the living room was converted for the heroes of the “Housing question” is located in a house built in 1937. We wanted the interior to match its history.
Luxury modular hardwood floor made of fine wood perfectly fits with the Soviet interior. The main secret is the classic checkers pattern, which looks seamlessly in the Palace halls, and in the avant-garde interiors of postconstructivism.
Commode in the form of the bumper ZIS-151 truck with antique headlights is dominant. The designer emphasized the owner’s fascination with the Soviet automobile industry. The muted olive color of the walls, free and smooth lines without sharp corners immediately envelop and dispose for rest.
