Coswick is officially introducing a new partner in Western Australia. The official opening and presentation of Coswick TM hardwood flooring products took place in Perth, the capital of the largest Australian state, at the professional show for architects and designers, the ArcPerth.

“We have been working in Australia for over three years now, but specifically in Western Australia, our presence is at its first stages. For the last year and a half, we have established a strong relationship with a professional company, Woodpecker Flooring. They are now stocking many Coswick products and have just had the grand opening of the first exclusive Coswick showroom in Perth. This symbolizes our official entrance into the Western Australian market,” – explained Maksim Astapchik, the territory sales manager.
The geographical location of Australia influences the products that are present on the market; the selection cannot compare to that of Europe or the USA. There are very few recognizable European or world brand names in the hardwood sector. Additionally, the particularities of the Australian climate require the highest quality of technologies and finishes to be used by the hardwood flooring manufacturers.

This was one of the key reasons why Australians noticed Coswick products. The ArcPerth is a professional trade show organized for designers and architects. The coordinators invite large international companies to present their interior design solutions. In the hardwood flooring sector, Coswick was selected as a manufacturer of choice. Coswick was presented by Woodpecker Flooring and Maksim Astapchik.
“We saw a huge interest in all Coswick products because they really get designers excited to create something unique. Specifically, the chevron collection with the click system, CosLoc, was noticed by many because it is tough to find in Australia. Usually, something like that would be custom, handmade work; and there is nothing like that available with a factory finish and warranty. I am sure that we will see a big demand for this product,” – shared his impression of the show Tyler Deane, the director of sales from Woodpecker Flooring.
As a side note, it is intriguing that the ArcPerth was held in one of the oldest buildings in Perth – a historical building of over 200 years old.
