Base and middle core for 3-layer flooring is made of birch. The hardness of birch is close to top layer made of oak, ash, or American walnut and the thickness base layer is extended to 3 mm. That provides the perfect symmetry and balance, and eliminates any chance of cupping and warping in case of temperature or humidity fluctuations.
Cork compensators are inserted into the middle core at every 20 cm. In the event of moisture effect cork compensators reduce stress in middles core and improve stability and structural integrity of the hardwood flooring plank.
HIGH PERFOMANCE COSLOC 5G
Coswick 3-layer flooring uses innovative Valinge 5G click system CosLoc. Middle core is made of birch, and all layers assembled together without gaps so there is no splits and chips on the click surface. Birch is hard enough to withstand to any chance of deformation of the click surface during installation and latest exploitation. It ensures a very tight and reliable connection and eliminates unwanted plank movement or squeaking during exploitation.
LONGLASTING POLYURETHANE GLUE
Coswick uses innovative polyurethane hot-melt adhesives for bonding 3-layer engineered flooring planks. This glue is extra strong, water-resistant and highly elastic that eliminates layer separation even in the event of flooding! The polyurethane bonding will not age, which means that the glue joint performance will last for decades during all flooring life time.
Coswick glues are eco-friendly and do not contain formaldehyde or any others hazardous substances.
CosNanoTech+ FINISHING TECHNOLOGY
Coswick innovative lacquer finishing technology CosNanoTech+ is a 12-layer UV-cured coating that contains corundum, the so-called artificial diamond. The finish provides superior durability, wear resistance and ensures increased lifetime of the wood flooring. CosNanoTech+ lacquer finish is covered by 25 years warranty. CosNanoTech + creates a perfectly smooth flat surface with fully sealed wood pores.
